Greenlight's third act, and third stretch goal.

Wow, we did not expect to hit $25,000 that fast. But you all have spoken and the message is clear: we need one more stretch goal. And this time, we’re going to make it a proper stretch goal.

Instead of throwing more expansion packs at you, we want to do something big with this stretch goal. If, and only if, we can hit $75,000 by the end of the campaign we will hold a competition for the best longline built with Greenlight cards. We will then make a 3 minute official trailer for the winning logline. The trailer will have the same production value, sharp writing, and cost-cutting use of puppets as our Kickstarter video. With any luck, a major studio will option the IP and produce a feature-length Greenlight motion picture that wins several Oscars and at least one Kid’s Choice Award.

In order to reach this stretch goal, we are also announcing a new reward: custom, one-of-a-kind expansion packs, tailored to whatever your heart desires.

Backer Shady Ady G suggested a “‘Michael Bay Excessive Action Pizzazz Pack - aka MBEAPP (not to be confused with ‘Mmmbop’).” For $75, we will make you that expansion pack. Or maybe you’d like a “When Mike Met Molly” expansion pack to gift to your friends Mike and Molly at their wedding, or alternatively to commemorate everyone’s favorite Chuck Lorre sitcom. Either way, we’ve got you.

“One Expansion Pack To Rule Them All”? Consider it done, you LOTR fan. A “Movie Musicals Expansion Pack”? While we don’t condone musical numbers in movies here at Greenlight, we will make this for you. Basically, give us a title for your expansion pack or suggest some cards and we will build you a fully custom, one-of-a-kind, Greenlight expansion pack.

The custom Greenlight expansion packs are available now as an add-on and will be shipped in September.

Update V: A New Stretch Goal

Wow...

We blew past our first stretch goal of $17,500 in less than a week thanks to your generous support and the fervor for our three new expansion packs has been nothing short of astounding.

So like any good movie studio worth its water tower, we are going to double down on a winning formula: our second stretch goal is once again an additional $7,500 in funding before the end of this campaign.

If we can hit $25,000 we will guarantee three new expansion packs (though if we're being honest, we will produce these regardless for the love of film): "written and directed by Quentin Tarantino," an expansion pack of cards inspired by our favorite foot fetishist; "Far, Far Away...." a sci-fi expansion pack, and "Pixart," an expansion pack devoted to animated movies that is in no way related to the animation studio of a famously litigious multinational media conglomerate.

Box Office Update: Week 3

This week, we come to you all with a major box office update: Greenlight has been greenlit!  🟢

Last Thursday, we hit our goal of $10,000 on Kickstarter and we are now fully funded thanks to the generous love and support from you all.

And now we are excited to keep the momentum growing in the hopes that this campaign topples Avatar's box office record. We now have a stretch goal of an additional $7,500. 

If we can raise $17,500 total in this campaign we are committing to producing at least three additional Greenlight expansion packs: "The Horror, The Horror!" a horror movie expansion pack, "Adaptations." an expansion pack of cards based on movies based on books, and "a film by Greta Gerwig," an expansion pack filled with cards inspired by the movies of Greta Gerwig.

You can now get a copy of any and all of these expansion packs as an add-on through this Kickstarter. And we are excited to offer several bundles that combine Greenlight and our expansion packs in genre-bending ways.

Box Office Update: Week 2

As week 2 of this project wraps, we are thrilled to say that we are so close to hitting our goal we can almost taste the Flavacol-enriched movie theater popcorn!

To date, we have raised $9,477, or 94% of our $10,000 goal. Thanks to you all, we have 241 backers who have chosen, in total, to get over 340 copies of Greenlight and hundreds of expansion packs and custom cards. 

Over the next and final two weeks of this campaign, we are excited to launch new hyper-specific movie themed expansion packs as we add stretch goals and work our way to ordering Greenlight from our manufacturer in the beginning of June.

Thank you all for your incredible support thus far! We can't wait until Greenlight is at your next game night.  🟢

Box Office Update: Week 1

It's been one week since we launched Greenlight and the response has been extraordinary. Thank you all for your overwhelming support thus far!

To date, we have raised $8,357, reaching 83% of our $10,000 goal. Thanks to you all, we now have 216 backers, many of whom are first time Kickstarter backers (with just as many hardcore game buffs), all of whom saw Greenlight and recognized that this will be the must have new game this holiday season.

And there are still 25 days to go for this campaign!

While our early bird "First-Look" and "Second-Look" deals have expired, that means there is still plenty of time to get Greenlight for just $20, 20% off its retail price. If you have friends and family who love games, love movies, and have no business being in the movie business, now is the time to tell them: pick up a copy of Greenlight here before it's too late.

Over the next few weeks, we hope to add a few exciting expansion packs and new rewards, but if, in the meantime, you'd like to add another edition of Greenlight to your order, or our "More Characters" expansion pack, "Plot Twists" expansion pack, or custom cards, you can do so by modifying your pledge and selecting additional add-ons.

As Hollywood rolls into the summer blockbuster season, we are so thankful to you all for helping us with this blockbuster of a Kickstarter project.
